    Having been on both sides - as a Landlord and a Tenant, ARLA are only interested in their members interests.

    Yes, I pay a fee to keep the Tenant off my back. But ultimately, if it goes the way of the pear, it's not the agent that has to take the tenant to court. It's not the agent's insurance that is null and void when the place gets flooded. It's not the agent that has to pay the mortgage, despite not having a tenant in place.
