Garage Roof Repair/Flashing

Hi all,
Looking for some advice here. My house has a retrofit garage in which the roof isn't properly sealed to the wall (like that since we've been here). Had 2 quotes for a job with lead flashing ranging from £650-£750 which would include some brick repointing at the back. Does that seem expensive?

Thanks!

Lead is expensive. a 3m length, 150mm wide Code 4 is around £32. Depending on overlap and height up the wall, you may need 300mm wide (twice the price).£650-750 doesn't sound that unreasonable as long as they are using lead and chasing it in to the wall. If they plan to use sticky flashing tape, find someone to do the job properly. Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.1 -
£100 per linear meter to install flashings (will require 300mm lead).
Garage length approx 5.5m
£550 plus vat, totalling £660.
Add in an hour's pointing and the price looks spot on.

Hi both, thanks for the input. I guess we just underestimated the cost of the materials in that case!
