“Treasure Hunt - Campaign 2025”

1. Competition and organisers

The promoter of this online competition “Treasure Hunt - Campaign 2025” (hereinafter referred to as “Competition”) is HolidayPirates GmbH, Neue Grünstrasse 18, 10179 Berlin, Germany, Germany (hereinafter referred to as “HolidayPirates”). The participation in the Competition is governed exclusively by the following participation terms and conditions. 

2. Participation 

2.1 Eligible to participate are entrants who must be at least 18 years old. Excluded from participation are employees, and their family members, of HolidayPirates and its affiliate companies. 

2.2 Participation in the Competition is only possible during the period from 16th June 2025 (12:00 pm local time) to 8th July 2025 (23:59 local time). Participation in the Competition is free of charge. Participation can happen daily until  08th July 2025 23:59 local time.

2.3 Participation in Golden chests draws:

Anyone who registers for the newsletter via the registration form on the Competition page by 08th July 2025 23:59 and confirms their registration by email will be entered into the Competition. Already registered newsletter subscribers must re-enter their email address via the popup on this webpage to participate in the Competition. Participation in the giveaway may trigger additional contest-related emails. Subscription confirmation to the newsletter is required to take part. 
To qualify for the first golden chest prize, users have to sign up for the newsletter and play a game in the timeframe between 16th - 19th June 2025 

To qualify for the second golden chest prize, users have to sign up for the newsletter and play a game in the timeframe between 20th - 23rd June 2025 
To qualify for the third golden chest prize, users have to sign up for the newsletter and play a game in the timeframe between 24th - 27th June 2025 
To qualify for the fourth golden chest prize, users have to sign up for the newsletter and play a game in the timeframe between 29th June - 2nd July 2025
To qualify for the fifth golden chest prize, users have to sign up for the newsletter and play a game in the timeframe between 1st - 4th July 2025
• • To qualify for the sixth golden chest prize, users have to sign up for the newsletter and play a game in the timeframe between 5th - 8th July 2025.

2.4 Participation in Diamond chests draws:

First Diamond chest:
Anyone who downloads the app and registers for the contest via the registration form in the app between 18th June 10:00 - 21st June 2025 23:59 will be entered into the Competition. Already registered app users need only to register via the registration form in the app. The winner will be notified by email for the purpose of coordinating prize delivery.

Second Diamond Chest:
Anyone who follows the instructions shared in the description of the contest post (reel) shared on 26th June on the Instagram account @holidaypirates, which is:

*Following the account @holidaypirates

*Commenting the contest post with tagging someone else's account 

*Liking the contest post, will automatically be part of the draw. All steps must be completed by 29th June at 23:59 (CET) to be eligible. The winner will be contacted via Instagram Direct Message to arrange prize delivery.

Third Diamond chest:
To enter the draw, participants must:

*Join the HolidayPirates WhatsApp channel

*Submit the correct keyword (shared in the contest message on the WhatsApp channel) in the Guess the Word game via the link provided in the message.

All steps must be completed between July 3rd at 10:00 AM and July 6th, 2025 at 11:59 PM (CET) to be eligible. The winner will be notified by email provided while entering the contest, for the purpose of coordinating prize delivery.

2.5 Only those who meet the conditions described in para.2.3 and 2.4 enter the Competition.  HolidayPirates cannot be held liable for late and/or incomplete entries.

    3. Execution and carrying out of the prize win

    3.1 Only the prizes specified in detail below will be drawn:

    £2,000 trip to NYC

    The prize is worth a maximum of £2,000 and can only be used to cover booking flights and accommodation for the winner's holiday. Any remaining value after booking flights and accommodation will be forfeited and cannot be used by a third party not connected to the prize. There is only one prize available across all participating markets (UK, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, and Germany). The winner needs to submit their invoice as proof of the planned holiday.

    £5,000 trip to Japan

    The prize is worth a maximum of £5,000 and can only be used to cover booking flights and accommodation for the winner's holiday. Any remaining value after booking flights and accommodation will be forfeited and cannot be used by a third party not connected to the prize. There is only one prize available across all participating markets (UK, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, and Germany). The winner needs to submit their invoice as proof of the planned holiday.

     TUI UK

    Your TUI Travel Gift Card can be used as full or part payment for travel products at all TUI Stores (excluding the Republic of Ireland), tui.co.uk and firstchoice.co.uk. For website transactions, your gift card must have sufficient funds to cover the initial payment due when booking your holiday.
    The card can’t be used as payment, or exchanged for, travel money-related products, including currency, travellers’ cheques and prepaid cards.
    The card can’t be exchanged for cash or to buy another gift card.
    The expiry date is printed on the reverse of your gift card. Your physical gift card expiry date will be at least one year from the date of your purchase. For digital gift cards, the expiry will be printed on your digital card and is two years from the date of purchase.
    The maximum account balance allowed at any one time is £5,000 for physical gift cards and £3,000 for digital gift cards.
    The card must be treated as cash, and the balance can’t be refunded if it’s lost, stolen or destroyed.
    You can find out your balance by phone, in-store or on the web.
    Cards can’t be redeemed over the phone.
    Your gift card cannot be used in the Republic of Ireland or online at crystalski.co.uk

    The prize is worth a maximum of £1,500 and can only be used to cover booking flights and accommodation for the winner's holiday.     £2,000 towards renting a villa of your choice. 

    Transfers + rental cars are not included. The prize is worth a maximum of £2,000 and can only be used to cover booking accommodation (villa) for the winner and friends. Any remaining value after booking accommodation will be forfeited and cannot be used by a third party not connected to the prize. There is only one prize available across all participating markets (UK, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, and Germany). The winner needs to submit their invoice as proof of the planned holiday.

    There are 6 golden chest prizes worth in total up to 11,894 EUR and 3 diamond chest prizes worth in total 15,000 EUR. The value of this prize can only be used for booking flights and hotels, any remaining value will be forfeited. There are 9 prizes available across all markets participating (Germany, Italy, UK, France,  USA, the Netherlands and Belgium) in the Competition. Money remaining from the original competition prize value after the trip arrangement (flights and accommodation) cannot be used by a third party not connected to the prize.

    3.2 Golden chest winners:

    The winners will be notified via the email address provided in section 2.3. The draw will take place on the first working day after each chest draw ends. The winner must confirm, using the contact routes specified in the notification, the receipt of the notification as well as his name and address within three days from being notified of the prize by the Competition promoter. Otherwise, the right to the prize ceases and will be allocated to another entrant. In this respect, the entrant is responsible for making sure that he takes note of the notification of the prize from HolidayPirates via his email account. The prices communicated during the Competition through our communication channels are converted into local currencies using foreign exchange rates applicable on the campaign start day. If the prize won is the participation in a trip, the trip details will be arranged in consultation with the winner. 

    Diamond Chest winners:

    The winners will be notified through the communication channels specified in point 2.4. The draw will take place on the first working day after each chest draw ends. The winner must confirm, using the contact routes specified in the notification, the receipt of the notification as well as his name and address within three days from being notified of the prize by the Competition promoter. Otherwise, the right to the prize ceases and will be allocated to another entrant. In this respect, the entrant is responsible for making sure that he takes note of the notification of the prize from HolidayPirates via his email account. The prices communicated during the Competition through our communication channels are converted into local currencies using foreign exchange rates applicable on the campaign start day. If the prize won is the participation in a trip, the trip details will be arranged in consultation with the winner. 

    3.3 The winner must travel within one year of claiming the prize, and otherwise risks forfeit by not doing so.

    3.4 The delivery of non-cash prizes is free of charge to all markets. This applies to one delivery attempt. Otherwise, the winner will have to bear transport costs and other expenses (customs duties, taxes etc.).

    3.5 The claim to the prize may not be assigned or transferred. The prize cannot be paid out, supplemented or changed. If the prize cannot be made available to the winner for whatever reason, HolidayPirates reserves the right to provide a substitute prize of an equivalent value.

    3.6 The trip will not be arranged by HolidayPirates. Instead, the prize money will be transferred to the winner. HolidayPirates is not liable for the organisation or execution of the trip.

    3.7 If the prize is provided by a third party, the winner will be contacted by the sponsoring company via email to arrange prize delivery.

    3.8 The contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram. Facebook and Instagram are not available for contact about the Competition.

    3.9 If the prize involves travel then you must start your travel from one of the participating countries: Germany, UK, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium and The Netherlands

    3.10 Winners are responsible for ensuring that their passport, visa, and any other required travel documents are valid and up to date for any trip they arrange with HolidayPirates. If after arranging the trip with HolidayPirates the winners realise that their papers are not in order, HolidayPirates will not be liable to arrange another trip.

    3.11 The prize(s) may be considered a taxable benefit to the winner(s). The winner(s) will be solely and directly responsible for accounting for and paying to any relevant tax authority, any tax liability arising on their prize.
