    use this
This is an appeal by the registered keeper - No driver details will *ever* be given. Please do not bother with your known fishing expedition in an attempt to get driver details.  It is known parking firms do this to try and get around the fact when there is no keeper liability in play. (and never can be under POFA)

Due to this being airport land you will be well aware there is NO keeper liability due to the byelaws in force and thus not relevant land.

As there is NO keeper liability then liability cannot flow from the driver to the keeper and thus is an auto win @ POPLA. Please therefore cancel the notice or issue a POPLA code where you will auto withdraw

If you waste your time asking for driver details this will be ignored and you will still lose at POPLA if you dont cancel the PCN

So let's save my time and yours and cancel this PCN you simply cannot win this (and you know it)

Hey, could you be so kind as to copy/paste the message you sent them, as it appear to have been successful? I'm in the same situation so it would be hugely appreciated. The one Chicken just posted seems needlessly confrontational (but maybe it's also the one you used, idk)

I can see you have never dealt with parking firms before
It is supposed to be written like that . We are not dealing with nice firms here
Its the one to use. Hence why its been posted up and is the one recommended on this forum
I also use it off forum on a daily basis and it doesn't fail

Ah, the low-hanging fruit on the gullible tree that is likely to pay up out of ignorance and fear. Here’s a less ‘confrontational’ appeal you can use which is also guaranteed to get the PCN cancelled:
I am the Keeper. The location is not relevant land for the purposes of PoFA 2012. The Keeper is not legally obliged to identify the driver. Only the driver can be liable. I therefore refer you to the answer given in Arkell v Pressdram (1971).

Wow, ok. I didn't mean to offend anyone to the point of being accused of gullibility and ignorance in return, but here we are. Thanks for posting an alternative template, appreciated. If the version by ChirpyChicken is the gold standard on these threads then I'll just go with that.
Could you please indulge my unforgivable naïveté for a little longer, and tell me whether you think that the fact that I got out of the car (therefore clearly showing my face as the driver) could make a iota of difference, either way?

No because these rogue firms have no facial recognition.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No this isn't the case at all so please dont worry and the reason my appeal text works is because its very to point, doesn't give any leeway to the parking firm and they know not to bother messing around !

With a lot of parking firms you have to be direct and to the point.
