You’re doing so well, fantastic figures!I find that if I’ve re-cycling or a pile of things to take to the charity shop, I like to put them in the car boot so they’re out of the house (and out of my way!) and drop them off when I’m in town.2

That is such a lovely positive update! Glad you had a good break and have been able to increase those savings 😊1

Thanks, all 😁. Yes, @foxgloves that savings total is really motivating for me! Despite having the amount on a s/s, I also have a paper chart on the wall by my work desk where I colour in every £100 increase 🤣. It's a surprisingly good visual motivator!
Well, hello and bore da, everyone. Today should be a NSD. Got a food delivery yesterday so the cupboards are full. I'm just in bed with a coffee just now, planning my day. I need to call the garage and arrange a appointment for a new dipped beam bulb for my car, so must remember to do that.
I finally remembered to put in the cat insurance claim yesterday for black cat, so hopefully that will come through fairly soon. I probably need to order more medicine for her as well, so should put that on my To Do list. Not sure my ex ever got around to sending me his share either, so I might need to chase that up as well.
This evening after work I have no plans, so need to think about what I want to do. There is a small rip in a jumper I like to wear so should probably mend that. Other than that I'm not sure. What I need to do is decide what projects I want to be working on in my life, and once I know what I want to concentrate on then I can allocate time to them. At the moment it is all a bit wishy washy so nothing gets done.
So, time to get up and face the world. Well, face the shower and silly dog anyway! The weather looks like it is going to be fairly nice for the rest of the week so at least dog walks will be pleasant. Have a good day everyone.Live the good life where you have been planted.

Morning! And how cheerful to be in bed with a coffee planning your day 😊 I am still in bed too, but reading about other people planning their days 🙈 (although to be fair I KNOW what I am doing today, just not doing it yet...)
Good idea to plan out projects. I am guilty of the opposite - having so many projects planned that I don't know what to do at any given moment 😬 I now have project groups home, outside, craft, admin) and allow myself ONE live project in each area at a time. So, for example, I was recently making a crocheted blanket - so all other craft projects were off limits while I finished it (not entirely sure i stuck to that - I think I did knock up a couple of cushion covers 😂). Outside it's especially helpful - I am clearing the area behind the house of nettles. Yes, I also want to clear the veg beds, but ONE THING AT A TIME! doesn't mean I can't do normal maintenance (mowing the grass etc) but only having one ongoing project really helps to stop me being overwhelmed with indecision.
Anyway, don't know why I'm waffling on about that, that's not the issue you're having! And the main decision i need to make right now is to get out of bed!7 -

Jumping in to say hello, and also - have you considered replacing the blown headlight yourself? Depends on the make and model of car obvs, but you can usually find something on Y**T*be that shows you what and how to do. I've not taken mine to the garage for a blown bulb for about a decade now. (I will concede that it's not always easy - some swearing and exasperation to be expected lol. Just my two-pence worth. Love your updates btw. BiB xDF
