Registering a Will Trust as Trustee

Many thanks for the clarification. I have literally spent the past few months going around in circles with trying to resolve this. I was quoted over £500 to apply a restriction A and when asked for a breakdown for what was involved I received a long list of actions that included an ID requirement despite the fact that they had drafted the will in the first instance. Your kind contribution of two very helpful bits of procedural guidance has been invaluable. Genuine thanks.Land_Registry said:If it's solely for a form A restriction then there is no fee, A form A restriction is an exception to the rule with regards standard forms of restriction attracting a registration fee0 -
Professionals will always charge a fee for their services. What those services include often go beyond the form and submission and extends to include legal advice on the options, whys and wherefores involved.Archiedextrous56 said:

I would always recommend seeking legal/financial advice before doing anything with regards a property and applying to update the register. Filling in a form is the easiest part most of the time but knowing why you are doing it and what impact it has thereafter if X, Y or Z happens is always worth (inc a fee) confirming.“Official Company Representative
