Another Excel annoyance

On my financial spreadsheet I have a number of organisations, some of which have both accessible and fixed term accounts which I list and calculate separately.

When I copy across for the next month / week I get those annoying little triangle error messages about 'formula omits adjacent cells'. Is there a way to stop these or do I just live with them?

Turn off error checking, which you can do by clicking on the error notification.

Perfect!  Many thanks, it's much appreciated.

you can disable it for the whole spreadsheet if you want

To disable Excel's error notifications for a spreadsheet, navigate to File > Options > Formulas and uncheck the box labeled "Enable background error checking". This will prevent the green triangles (error indicators) from appearing in cells with formulas that Excel flags as having errors.
