Hi, so we’ve done the hard part and laid our porcelain patio. The grout lines are 3mm wide and for the life of me I can’t find a pointing tool or similar online which will fit in the gap and give us a smooth finish. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

For smooth finish you can use any 3mm+ steel wire, e.g. a thick nail. Just bend it a little to make it easier to hold. For filling the gaps - filling knife / plastic or metal or wooden rule / old bank cards (possibly 2-3 together) /...Or check dental/scientific spatulas.1

You need to grout porcelain slabs in a similar way to tiles. Use something like EasyGrout, which is a slurry designed for porcelain slabs. You finish them with a sponge float.0

If you're not going to grout them, but use a mortar mix the correct tool to get a compressed rounded joint is a 1/4 inch bullhorn jointer.0
