@elsien When a person is in receipt of benefits they are basically ordered to apply for any and every vacancy they see.  They can be told by the 'Work Coach' to apply for jobs even if they are totally unsuitable.  Failure to do so can see their benefits 'sanctioned'.

Was suggested to apply for job as a kitchen designer.

Fully aware of that @TELLIT01.  I have been in that situation when I was made redundant, Except on less money because I had a bit of savings so only got jobseekers.
I would apply for jobs that I was not suitable for to tick the boxes, But then would complete the forms in such a way that I was never going to be invited for interview.

Spoke to the job centre today, and was very honest with them. I said that I was totally incapable of driving in the fashion required, and there was a high risk of accident. I also explained that I only applied, as I felt that “I needed to at least try.”

Thankfully, they were not really bothered too much.
