MS special Capital One card

Hey basically I'm looking to make a £300 purchase as soon as possible and to take the strain off of my bank account I was thinking about using a 0% on purchases card. I can easily pay that off now but letting it go and paying it off over 6 months will be easier.

I have never used CCs like this before only a Capital One classic card to up my credit score which i spend £20 a month and pay off in full every monthso my score - on credit expert - rose to 99 out of 100 so very good.

Thing is on MSupermarket they have a special offer on the Capital One purchases that give 0% til Feb 09, but it's freaking me out a bit that obviously theres no mention on the capital one site of this and that I don't want to be caught out here.

Basicaly as long i can get interest free on purchases til next december I'll be happy. I just want to be ble to make minimum payments each month without having to pay any interest - does minimum payments per month vary? or is it invariably around 5%?

Thanks for any info and please explain any terms you use as I say I'm pretty new to this :)

Being sarcastic will not help your cause !!!

Your post was probably pushed down the list by the high volume of other posts and was therefore not noticed. Have some patience !

To answer your Q - There are dozens of cards available to you offering 0% deals, some up to 15 months such as The Halifax Purchases Card/ Virgin Card. The Capital one card is on their website if you follow the link.
It would be more beneficial to you to pay off the purchase over a longer period as it means you get to hold onto YOUR money for longer and possibly earn a little interest. Ensure you set up a DD to pay the minimum each month.

Minimum payments are usually £5 or a percentage of what you owe. The higher will apply and yes they will vary by a small amount as you will owe less each month.
