Excellent. And it's nice for you that you're in the privileged position that you are, that you can afford to do charitable work for free. That is the kind of charity we all should be supporting.
For a lot of people however (about 800k people in the UK) working for a charity *is* their job. It's how they pay their mortgage and put food on their table. I'm sure a lot of them would love to be in the position to do the work they do for free... but they're not. People who do paid for for charities generally aren't living in large detached houses and driving around in sports cars.0
