CIVIL ENFORCEMENT LIMITED - DEFENCE

Options
I have used the templates as suggested (first 5 paragraphs in CEL template & Paragraphs 4 onwards from the generic template).

Paragraph 6 in the CEL Template suggests denying the POC one by one, is there an example or any wording of this to help with this so I can get my defence submitted.

Yes, plenty of recent examples in the last 2 months in other case threads, denying the alleged contravention etc

The normal template defence shows you a link to what to put for paragraph 3.

Why are you using the one with 5 paragraphs first? Is it an in-house CEL claim? Show us the POC,
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I’m not sure if it’s an in house CEL claim or not to be honest, how would I tell the difference ?

All I know is civil enforcement Ltd are the claimant

Also, how long do I have to submit my defence after AOS ?

The claim form says (on the left hand side) if the address for papers is a solicitor or also CEL.

Show us the POC and we can tell.
