Please can anyone advise?
Van was hit and insurance have written it off. I’ve been messaged with an explanation which I don’t understand and need to let them know if I accept the offer or not.

They’ve given a figure for Retail Value, another figure for Trade Value and then it says their engineers have placed a pre-accident value on your vehicle of £**** which is higher than the retail/trade prices.
Which figure would I be accepting? Don’t want to click yes/no until I’m sure. It says to do it as soon as possible.
Thankyou in advance.

Pre accident value is what most insurers will pay in

If its unclear then you should ask them to clarify, normally its their engineer that decides the value and they can deviate from book value for various reasons.elpem said:Please can anyone advise?
