How to switch off this radiator

Hi All,
How do I switch off this radiator. Have attached pics. Thanks

Do you know which end is the inflow? If not turn the heating on briefly and stay by the radiator to see which end warms first. Turn the top of the valve at that end to turn it off... the plastic top is missing but you can use pliers to turn the top.3

Just checked. My british gas annual service is due. I have booked this week. They should be able to fix this. I will be around to see how they fix it.0

BG have different levels of cover some are just for the boiler.1 -

You probably need to get some new easily adjustable radiator valves fitted.0
