Morning All
Thanks for the start Scarlet.
It's been a bit of a soggy weekend and looks to be carrying on this morning. Washing on the airer, may have to resort to the TD later to air everything off.
Couldn't find the broad beans at the allotment so someone has either put them in the office or taken them home - as long as they aren't wasted I don't mind. Carried on with the housework - just the bathrooms to do tonight and I'm done, ready for my visitors tomorrow.
Shame you didn't get a great turn out for your plant sale Mehefin but I'm sure you will make the school look lovely.
Work today, just 2 more weeks until we finish - another busy week ahead so we'll see what happens.
Hope everyone is well, take care. XX11 -
Good morning again, I realised late last night that I hadn't returned after starting off yesterday!
It was hot yesterday, I think the forecast's good for today as well.
We've emptied the caravan, we sold it on Friday, and the contents seem to be all over the house. It's mainly domestic stuff, pans, cutlery, cleaning stuff. Dd will take some for their holiday cottage.
My Ds was doing a 70 mile run on Saturday, from Carlisle to Newcastle, he finished in 19 hours, at 11 pm on Saturday evening. He didn't feel too good yesterday but he'll be ok.
I had a lot of washing out yesterday and the line snapped - fortunately the ground was dry and I was there when it happened so was able to sort it straightaway.
I'm meeting a friend at Do*bies this morning, I could really do without going out but I haven't seen her for a while, and this was arranged a few weeks ago. It'll be nice to see her anyway.
You'll be looking forward to the end of term Camelot - don't the weeks fly away.
Hope everyone has a good day today, take care folks.10 -
Good morning Scarlet and all who follow.
A bright sunny start, yesterday morning brought a unexpected shower but then it was bright all day, although a little on the breezy side.
DH had a lovely long phone call with our DD, but it appears that things aren't going too well at dgd's school again. I'll wait until I hear more, but it seems that she is at home again. Poor DD sounds so stressed, but calmed down after talking to her dad.
Usual chores to do, maybe pork chops for dinner, it's difficult to know what to eat this weather.
Have a good day all, TA, hope all goes well. Take care.10 -
Morning all
Looks to be a lovely day it’s warm already I have been out and topped up the birds water this morning, we are having to re- think the bird table and make it big bird proof it has attracted a huge amount of massive crows who sit on the roof from 4 in the morning calling out for food 😳 and waking us all up, when I opened the curtains the other day there were about 20 of them out there, I bet the neighbours are cursing me 😬 OH said he will put a roof on it and a bar around it so they can’t get in.
Rob coming today and we will walk the dogs this morning and then we are going to meet our friends and have a picnic lunch with them, his family have still sent no money for him so we are having to think of free things to do, poor bloke, I am hoping to hear from the council this week.
Dinner tonight will be some kind of creamy chicken pasta we will probably eat in the garden as it’s so nice. I have a wash on the go and will hang it out once done.
Have good days all and take care xx9 -
Morning all - thanks for the start @Scarlet. That caravan did you good service over the years and you still have those memories.Yesterday, and probably today, was one of all day drizzle and mist, not inviting at all. The forecast has the same until Wednesday. I did a few inconsequential chores and then decided to watch 'See how they run' - a film I recorded ages ago. It's a very funny spoof on Agatha Christie's Mousetrap, I put off watching it because I thought it may be rubbish, but it wasn't! It's a very gentle romp around a couple of murders in the cast of the play. Well worth a couple of hours and quite delightful. This morning it's the weekly spreadsheet to do before I go to my exercise class. I could do with not going, but that's just laziness and I can't use the excuse of being on meds much longer.I hope that everyone is doing well whether you have sun or rain. Hugs to all.9

Morning allLooking to be a beautiful day here.DH loaded my boot with some stuff for me to take to Street Angels charity this morning. Then I'm going to an outlet centre I've not been to for a while for a wander round.Sorry to hear your DGD is not happy at school again @remmie Hope it can be sorted. As you said it must be so stressful.Right, off for a shower and must remember to put some towels out on the line before I go. They'll probably be dry by the time I come back!Have a good day all x9

Good morning 😊
It’s been a few days since I last posted. We had an impromptu few days in the Peak District. Such an amazing place, and so many hiking trails with beautiful views. I am exhausted, but in a good way.
Back to everyday matters. I have a skip delivery this morning, as we sorted the back shed, and there was a lot of stuff dumped in there, which needs to go. There are also several bags of garden waste, so it works out cheaper to get the skip than it does to pay the local council to remove it for us.Both bathrooms need a good clean, and the main fridge freezer needs a good sort out before the Asda shop arrives this afternoon.
Dinner tonight is either a beef curry, or mung bean curry, served with coconut rice. If I have time, I might make naan for the others, but I already know I’m going to be busy.
Hope you all have a good day 😊11 -

Chimney is now swept for another year he came an hour early someone had canceled we had a couple of songs a couple of poems and more than a few jokes he’s a happy chappy and very good at his job .thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing10

Morning all, thanks for the start Scarlet, sorry to hear you've sold your caravan after so many years but it gives you a chance to try new places I hope.It seems a bit of a mixed day, it was sunny when I got up, now covered in cloud. Lazy day yesterday after the music festival on Sat. We went to DS2s as DGD was staying, DGS was at the football field with 2 others from the team so we didn't see him
She has said she'll come with us to watch their final at the weekend and then we have the yearly presentation straight after at a local pub who will put food on. It was lovely to see her. @remmie I hope things improve for your DGD , such a tricky age too.
We have some gammon steaks for later so that'll be nice and quick after the school run.Hope you all have a good day:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)8
