Hi All
Got a ticket, for accidentally driving through the drop off zone (entry and exit within two minutes) and very annoyed that they sent me a charge. Anyway, done the usual, gone through the threads, including the newbie thread and this is what i've drafted:

Subject: Formal Appeal – Parking Charge Notice [Ref]
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing as the registered keeper of the vehicle to formally appeal the above-referenced Parking Charge Notice (PCN). There will be no admissions as to who was driving the vehicle, and no assumptions can be drawn from this appeal.
The charge is disputed on the following grounds:
1. No Keeper Liability - Land is Not 'Relevant Land' Under POFA 2012
I appreciate i only need to put point 1, but is there any harm in putting point 2 also? Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing as the registered keeper of the vehicle to formally appeal the above-referenced Parking Charge Notice (PCN). There will be no admissions as to who was driving the vehicle, and no assumptions can be drawn from this appeal.
The charge is disputed on the following grounds:
1. No Keeper Liability - Land is Not 'Relevant Land' Under POFA 2012
- Schedule 4 of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (POFA) explicitly excludes keeper liability for land that must be driven over to enter or exit a highway, such as an airport drop-off zone.
- Stansted Airport's drop-off area is a mandatory transit point, meaning POFA's keeper liability provisions do not apply.
- It was not parked (not left unattended or stationary for any period);
- Did not breach any contractual terms intended to prevent prolonged parking;
- Exited promptly without causing obstruction or delay.

It makes no difference so long as you don't "out" the driver. APCOA will fold.Always remember to abide by Space Corps Directive 39436175880932/B:
'All nations attending the conference are only allocated one parking space.'1
