Thanks so much @Sovereign_Hunter_999 and @dunstonh for your further comments re my question/"challenge" . Much appreciated. I research industries & categories for a living, identify white space and growth opportunities for brands. HOWEVER, I feel totally exposed in the financial space, even moreso when it's linked to my own growth agenda. I will absolutely review all advice and risks associated. Thanks again.0

That is not good quality investing for a UK-domiciled investor. A global tracker would be more suitable for the equity allocation but its unclear if the OP can handle a high risk 100% equities approach.
The OP has had a defined benefit scheme and no indication that they have ever used risk based investments. So, jumping 100% into a global tracker, let alone a single country tracker, is unlikely to be suitable.-4 -

@Albermarle truly appreciate your comment, thank you. I'm absolutely just exploring at the moment, and all advice is welcome whilst I get my head around my next move. I think I've only achieved 3 posts to date since officially becoming a forum member "Newbie" status. I expect, nobody in their right mind would listen to my advice on a topic, unless a super "risk taker"!
I will keep you all updated on my strategy/progress in regards to my question. 0
