Car Insurance- Great experience with AGEAS

We often hear about gripes with motor insurers, but I recently had great service from AGEAS Insurance (Budget Insurance Services were the broker).
Car was damaged in a roadside parking bay. No witnesses or CCTV. Reported to Insurance on 18th May and was advised car was a total loss, after two weeks. Gave me 2 options, full settlement less excess or keep car and a generous sum to get repaired myself. Settlement was in my bank on 5th June.

Excess was refunded to my bank on 12 Jun, through GoCompare.
Great service, great communications and quick resolution to my claim. You only find out how good car insurance companies are when you claim, so I can thoroughly recommend them based on my experience.

Good to hear you were happy with the resolution of your claim; nice to see not just complaints.sheslookinhot said:Car was damaged in a roadside parking bay. No witnesses or CCTV. That said, in my claims days our Accident Manage Team would have been marked as a fail for not getting the money into your account within 10 working days of the notification of the accident.0
