Additional Witnesses at hearing

Hi all,

My wife is in the process of fighting another parking fine at the hospital where she works. We're at the stage now where we have to fill out the N180 form.

I've realised the process is slightly different from last time. My wife wrote to the Court before the last hearing and asked if I could be present at the hearing which was granted. However I noticed this time on the N180 form section F3 asks for number of witnesses. Obviously my wife is one witness, however I'm wondering if I am able to include myself as a witness at this stage to support her at the hearing? Or does she still state 1 and then she can write to the court again perhaps?

If we state 2 witnesses, will we need to provide 2 witness statements?

A McKenzie Friend or Lay Rep doesn't need prior permission.

And if this a DCB Legal single PCN claim they will discontinue before the hearing anyway.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

ok, I remember now I went as a lay representative last time so I'll do the same again so I'll just put 1.

    Thanks both for your feedback.

Also depends if it'll help your case being able to submit two witness statements.
