PCN for stopping 4 minutes on a taxi rank Kingsbury

Hi Everyone,

I received PCN through post saying Vehicle Driven Away when preparing PCN which is a lie.

I had Traffic Warden permission to park 5 minutes for loading on 28/05/2025 and he did not give me ticket when I left but after few days got PCN dated 29/05/2025.

14 days past to pay at discount rate (£80) but Harrow Council online still showing reduced rate of £80. 

I really confused whether to pay or appeal on ground of poor Taxi Rank road marking ( TAXI word is faded and broken yellow line is completely faded, hardly you can see yellow line).

Any suggestions? Thanks

Never ever believe anyone in the parking industry it is just a money making industry.

Having said that you are now in a predicament, to me those markings and signs are quite clear, a traffic warden has no discretion in this case as I see it, he issues the ticket it's up to you to appeal. 

It will be your word against his and without witnesses you know which way it will go.
