Fitting Battery to Solar

I have 11.04 kWh of solar panels with a 10kWh Growatt MOD 10KTL3-XH (BP) inverter, fitted in November last year. Its on a a 3 phase domestic system and export agreed under G98. And further clarification .. although the manual says the ARK batteries are the ones compatible with the inverter, Growatt have just emailed me to inform

"for Uk Model we only have BP version. We just do not have back (BP) in the part number. You can definitely use APX5.0 battery for your inverter."
So now looking at the APX batteries ... but would be very interested in looking at alternate setup's, even if it means changing the inverter.
