So with 10kWh agreed on export with a 3 phase supply fed through the same hybrid 10 kWh inverter, they are likely not to require an application?

G98 specifies maximum demand (without load limiting device) as 18 Amps per phase, not 16A.

Also, the inverter model and capacity is included on the G98, so I presume I would need to make a new application if I changed the inverter?
Just be clear although you keep writing "kWh" are you actually referring to power, which would be "kW"?

kWh refers to the quantity of energy, which could mean absolutely any power. For example 10kWh could result from 1kW (power) for 10 hours, 100W for a 100 hours, or 100kW for six minutes. Or any other combination of power and duration giving that product.

A battery will have both a capacity in kWh and a power rating, possibly different for charge and discharge. For example mine is 9.7kWh, charge and discharge ratings are both 5kW.

That looks like G.99, in particular the reference to export limit. In which case there should be an Offer in response, which should be accepted before going ahead. Then when the system's commissioned the details of equipment, test results etc are sent to the DNO, and finally (you hope) DNO responds confirming it's all in order and complies with their offer.

Under G.98 you don't apply, just tell them afterwards.
Its a G98 as per the declaration

Update on Inverter - the "compatible" Growatt battery for my MOD 10KTL3-XH inverter is the ARK HV battery system, not the APX which is reserved for the BP model, which I haven't got. Unfortunately cannot find these for sale in the UK, so open to suggestions for compatible alternatives. Looking for 20-30kWh capacity.

Ah, your opening post said you had the BP version!
The ARK HV battery is still a high voltage one (600V - 950V, per the datasheet)
    ... so I don't think you'll find a 3rd party compatible battery. Sorry.
Dare I suggest asking your original installer? Have they got a source for the ARK batteries?

Sorry for confusion on inverter type in the first post .. checked since and its definitely not the BP version, but states its  "AFCI Backup" on the label. It has Battery Positive, Negative and Neutral connection ports.

The Original installer don't have a source for ARK batteries, so it looks like I will need to change the inverter and add batteries, preferably ones that will give me access to the best import and export rates.

    Looking for suggestions please

There aren't that many folk with three-phase so you might not get many first-hand recommendations.
If you can wait, the three-phase Powerwall is one option (hopefully the "later this year" is a more reliable forecast than all the promises of "full self driving" for their cars).
Otherwise, I gave an example of a Sunsynk inverter and Fogstar battery back on Page 1:

Thanks for the great advice and suggestions QrizB.

New to this so please bare with me ...

Why a 8kwh hybrid inverter when the current system is 10kwh, and the solar is 11.4 kwh?

Current export limit is 10kwh, but suspect this could be increased to 11kWh as it's a 3 phase supply?

Like the price and capacity of the Fogstar ... Concerned about how I move this to my garage over a gravel driveway... Will find a solution though

I may have misread one of your previous posts, but you were talking of having your panels split over two roofs, one facing SE and another facing SW?
If this is how they were installed, I wouldn't have expected you to ever see the full rated output from the system. Youll get sun.on half of them early in the morning, and half in the evening, but at noon you'll only get 70% out of each set. Which is about 8kW.
Of course I might have misunderstood, and/or they might not have been installed like that.

In the end, 26 panels were put on the SW roof ... Currently generating ~ 65-70 kWh daily (peak was 80), and shaving at 10kw for ~4-6 hrs a day on the best days. No panels on SE roof.
