NO PAYING A SCAM PRIVATE PCN.
Either
ignore it (after telling UKPC they have your company address wrong, because that needs putting right) and await the Claim;
or
name the lessee (driver) and transfer liability to them, so they can ignore it.
Decide now whether your company or the driver is going to be best placed to do the dead easy thing of defending a claim in a few months time then watching DCB Legal discontinue it in a year's time.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

in case we havent been clear the lessor is 123 company and we have leased a company car with them ( we are lets say ABC company) ABC's neighbour only delivered our mail to us as it was delivered to them by Royal mail. sometimes deliveries go to the neighbour instead of us and they have been away and only delivered us the mail now- late. Can i check that you are saying that the hirer- which is OUR company- ABC we should name the driver. the driver is the one who has been having those mini stokes- are you saying to name them the driver and then they- the driver will ignore them? we dont want to have issues with the lessor 123 or spoil the company name or anything but we dont want to do anything to the driver who is in a state. plus its only a 2 person company- me and the driver. Thanks for your help by the way- we are grateful for your help this is quite stressful0

or if we can ask to pay the original fine
It is not fine, it is an allegation that you breached a contract.
Ask yourself, how likely is it that a judge would not consider it a waste of court time?
ignore unlesss thay lodge a court claim.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1 -
Do not pay.
I am saying it's your choice who is best placed to see this off: decide now who can cope best with defending a court claim.
If that's your company (because you don't want to inflict this on the driver?), update your address with the debt crawlers & await the Claim Form which is easy to defend but you must make sure the letters are coming to the right address. There is no CCJ risk in defending a claim and this isn't a fine!
