Boot print on new porcelain tiles

Options
Hi everyone, I’ve recently (few days ago) had porcelain tiles laid in my garden. Like an idiot I must have walked on some cement/primer/unsure of the residue which has left a boot print. I have tried washing it down with washing liquid and scrubbing it which hasn’t worked and today have tried HG cement remover which also didn’t work. im now at odds as to what it could be and how I could get rid? I would appreciate any help 🙁

It should disappear with wear.  Chemicals or strong detergents might do more harm than good.

If it's the primer, it could.be an SBR/cement mix used for the back of the slabs.
It sets rock hard really quickly, and stains do take some shifting. Strong spirits of salt break down OPC and lime products, but you have to be careful about staining slabs. Probably best to leave it for a while.

Got marks off a marble fire surround with Bar keepers friend without damaging the surface, cheap enough to be worth a go. It is amazing stuff for shifting marks.

Which specific BKF product?  There's powders, creams, sprays, stain removers....

If it's an SBR/OPC cement mix used for priming the slabs I doubt any of them will touch it.

Put a pretty plant in a lovely pot over the top of it - no-one will ever know but you! ;)

For the cost of a couple of quid, I'd give some cif a go, and see what happened.

I’m starting to think it’s primer because nothing seems to be budging it :(

It won't be easy, as SBR/cement mix is designed to bond really well to the porcelain and it's bed. As porcelain has a very low porosity, the primer should be sitting on the surface. White spirit is said to soften it up a bit, and acid breaks up the cement.
When I get home I'll mix a bit up and stick some on an engineering brick.
Once it's hard I'll try some acid and white spirit on it. I know from experience to clean my tools in water straight away when using the stuff.

I've stuck some SBR/cement on an old slate and engineering brick.
I'll give it a couple of days, then see how acid and white spirit gets on.
