APCOA PN Issued at SouthEastern Rail car park: Blue Badge not registered at Blue Badge portal

So, I have just received a penalty notice from Apcoa despite the fact that I registered with Southwestern Trains, on their website and have an email which states that I can park for free at all stations except a few and up to the expiry of my Blue Badge?

I have never received any further communication from SWR, to tell me to register elsewhere and went ahead and parked as normal, as I knew I had already registered and was safe until expiry of the badge?

I've obviously appealed this charge as since I registered, SWR returned to government ownership and Im assuming they did not appropriately transfer the data they should have.

I was not asked to register on any other website and assumed this was for new users.

I'm hoping that they will cancel the ticket as this is unacceptable from both SWR and the parking people APCOA as they should have received the data that I'm registered, shouldn't have to keep registering over and over when the email confirmation from SWR specifically states parking until expiry of the badge, no other dates for renewal!

Total waste of energy and time fixing things that should not be broken, so fed up with this BROKEN country!

Totally agree.

The terms are unfair, place extra burdens upon blue badge holders and disadvantage you, to the point of illegal harassment.

That's a breach of the Equality Act 2010.
