Service media chamber on my garden

I've recently bought a house in a small cul de sac and there is a service media chamber on my land servicing 5 recently built houses on land to the side of our cul de sac. On checking the title deeds there is no mention of any easements and I am guessing the builder paid the previous owner to connect. The utility companies have no objection and say it's a legal matter. Where do I stand re home insurance? Can anyone tell me if this is likely to increase my premium as these things can set on fire. Thanks in advance.

Are you restricted to keeping it in grass?
You talk of a media chamber is it BT as I think only BT uses chambers most of the others use cabinets.
The chances of BT chambers catching fire are low unless a damaged electric cable burns its way through a duct and creates smoke plum from chamber.
The chamber might not be the only thing buried IE water gas electric virgin street lighting.
Home insurance it's not a question asked is there a chamber in the garden and what does it contain0 -

So if your insurer did think that the service chamber is a horrendous fire risk that they really need to increase your premium to cover, they would need to ask a question about it, in between the ones about whether there are any trees close to your house and what sort of locks you have. I've never seen an insurer ask about that sort of thing. It's not going to affect your premium if they didn't know about it, it wasn't too know about it.0
