PCN from NCP Keying Error

Hi all,
Please could you point me in the right direction for advice to appeal:
A relative has received a PCN from NCP. A parking app was used but wrong reg input, correct fee paid, presume this would be classed as major keying error.

I have read the newbie thread but confused as to whether it is PoFA or non PoFA. The PCN received within 14days of contravention.
Any help would be much appreciated.

But dates aren't the only thing mandated in the POFA. Compare the wording to my pics in the NTK pictures thread ... then you tell us if it's POFA worded or not! Spot the difference. Easy.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Having compared the PCN to your NTK picture thread for NCP, the wording is very similar to the PoFA worded PCN and it’s on private land too.Could you advise how to proceed and respond to NCP?
Do you need to see the actual redacted PCN?
I have been caught out with the wording before and would rather ask before responding this time.

Thank you for your response. Do I still need to appeal to NCP as a keying error and then add the non-POFA line?

Just point out it's non POFA and that the driver won't be revealed. The rest is irrelevant.
