after completing a job like a new supply to an induction hob, or new electrical fittings in a bathroom - heated towel rail, extractor, illuminated mirror?
Or, is a cert of 'conformity' actually required?
Thanks.

If the works include provision of a new circuit then an Electrical Installation Certificate is required. If an existing circuit was altered then a Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate is required. If the circuit was neither altered nor newly installed then no certificate is required.
