Not sure if this is the right section of the forum, but here goes!
We've started receiving, on a reasonably regular basis, post through our letter box for a similar but different address. I've had post incorrectly delivered before over the years (usually for a next door neighbour) but it's only ever been a one-off. We're now getting post for an address on a nearby street with the same house number about once a week over the last 2 months.
Our address is 92 "Street", London N14 9**
The address we're receiving mail for is 92 "Road", London N14 9!!
I.e. the road name is completely different, and the final two letters of the post code are different.
The other address is close enough by that I can walk over and put it through their letterbox but it's got to the point now where I feel I need to do something to bring it to the Royal Mail's attention. I've googled it but am just getting hits for what to do if you receive post addressed to your house but for an unknown or former resident.
Anyone with any ideas as to how to best get this corrected going forwards?

If I had a pound for every time I didn't play the lottery...

Have you not tried contacting your local delivery office? Or have a word with your postie if you ever catch them - they're probably mixing them up when sorting the mail for their walk.1

The trouble is, there's nothing to correct in terms of information. The address is correct, but the sorting/delivery interpretation of it is muddled. How far from the nearest sorting office do you live? My local one (where I go if a parcel isn't delivered for whatever reason) has a manned counter, so there's someone I could talk to to find out how this might get sorted out.0

Happy to bring it up at the local sorting office - it's about a 20 minute walk away.
Latest delivery (this morning) is a Moonpig card so feel I should drop that over asap as it's likely time critical. When the next one comes I'll take it up to the sorting officeIf I had a pound for every time I didn't play the lottery...0 -
I've always thought that the mail was sorted by Royal Mail's system, using the postcode. Clearly that's not what's happening here.
Rightly or wrongly, if I receive mail addresses to someone else, then I just put it in the postbox that I walk past every day. I only delivery it myself if the post belongs to one of my close neighbours.1 -
I've experienced exactly the same as you at my current address previously. The different Post Code quite clearly stated on the letters too.
It eventually stopped when I repeatedly popped them straight back in the box when I was passing one. I wrote clearly on the envelope "Delivered to wrong street address/postcode" - adding the word AGAIN!! as it went on for quite a while.
I live quite close to the other street too but I'm not doing the posties job for him, plus it would only continue I'm sure if it wasn't brought to their attention.
The homeowner eventually hand delivered a letter to my address to thank me even though I'd never identified where they were being incorrectly delivered to. I can only assume it was also working the other way round too, as they must have been getting my mail too on occasion.1 -
Just have a quiet word with the postie first. No drama then.2

Simply write "Not 92 'Street'" on the envelopes and pop them back in the postbox.1
