Another ParkingEye unfair "fine"

Hello all,
Just one to put my mind at ease here. I have read most of the guides and some threads similar to mine but I just want to make sure I am doing the right thing here. In November, I was issued a PCN by ParkingEye for not paying a praking fee on a gym car park that is also shared with a hospital. I usually pay my "fines" ( I know they are not) but I really felt that I was unfailry charged there as I had paid for it. I did not how to go about appealling so I first wrote to ParkingEye explaning that I had paid for the required amount for my stay on the machine that was at the entrance of the gym I was using (it was 60p for for my stay. I sent them a picture of my bank statement receipt showing the date of payment which matches the time and date of the PCN they sent me). They sent me to POPLA, to which I appealed unsuccessfully, I have attached the POPLA reply to my appeal for info. By the time I had appealed the PCN went from £20 to £100 which I found unreasonable for a 60p charge to start with. They have now moved to the next layer and sent me a bailif letter of £170. I am between two minds in chosing to ignore this and wait for a court order, answer and appeal it or pay the £170 and be done with it although I find it unfair. I have attached the POPLA response to my appeal and my receipt to prove payment. I have not yet taken pictures of were I parked, signage and the paying machine at the entrance of the gym.
In retrospect, I think one of my mistakes (along with confirming that I was the driver of the vehicule) was to pay at the wrong mahine, there were to paying machines at the entrance of the gym and maybe one was for one car park and the other for another one, which would explain why I do not appear

on their record but I am only assuming here.
I would be grateful if someone could let me know what is likely to happen next and what I should do if I decide to do not to pay £170 for something I had paid for in the first instance.

I doubt that you have received a bailiffs letter, the bottom of it will state that its not subject to bailiffs action, so its a debt collector letter, post 4 in the newbies sticky thread in announcements
Going forward you will receive
More powerless debt collectors letters, ignore them
Then you will probably receive a Letter of Claim giving you 30 days notice, so respond, post 2 in the newbies sticky thread in announcements ( this will be sent by either Parking Eye, or by DCB Legal )
Eventually you may receive an N1SDT court claim pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL, a court claim, post 2 in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum3 -
Thanks a lot for that, sorry about how the post was organised, I could not put the pictures where I wanted and could not edit my post.0

Thanks a lot, I am checking my POPLA appeal account but I don't seem to be able to access any evidence given by ParkingEye, just the decision... I will look into it to see where I can access it.0
