Defrosting a freezer

The chest freezer I have I use a plastic dust pan to defrost it: I use it like a giant scrapper and then just scoop up the ice in the bottom of the freezer.Only use a plastic one otherwise you may damage the interior.

I use the steamer solution. Very speedy.
