Ryanair cancels return flight

Options
Three weeks ago I booked a return flight from Stansted to Vienna for the end of November. They don't offer flights every day. This morning I received an email from Ryanair saying that my return flight was cancelled. It then offered the re-routing or cancellation options. I've never had a cancelled Ryanair flight before (plenty with BA and Easyjet) so I just wanted to check. If I cancelled, would I get the refund for the outbound and inbound flights?

Probably not, Ryanair are a point to point airline.

You would only get a refund for the return as the outward flight is still operating.

If it helps you find an alternative flight, Ryanair fly daily in November to STN from Bratislava, which isnt much further away than VIE is. May also give you an excuse to visit Bratislava (although you only really need a day there, from experience)

If the flights were booked together and are on the same booking reference then you can choose to cancel both flights and receive a full refund. The EU/UK regulations require this.

Ryanair's cancellation form (follow the link in your email) used to ask if you if you wanted to cancel the other flights on the reservation, not sure if it still does.

Exactly this, so depends how you booked the flights. If STN/VIE/STN with Ryanair then the airline should be happy to refund in full.
