What's happened to Google searches? (Just noticed Amazon for now)

So since yesterday I've noticed a change when I Google search Amazon. 

For however long now I'd type in Amazon, click the first link that comes back & be on the Amazon main page.

Not now.



So if I click that first link for example, I'm taken to Amazon where "amazon.co.uk" has been searched in the search bar. If I want the actual main page (which I do) then I have to then click Amazon in the top left corner which takes me to the main page I was expecting.

This applies to both Firefox and Chrome searches.

I've only noticed it with Amazon so far.

    It seems Google has changed, now get https://www.amazon.co.uk/amazon-co-uk/s?k=amazon.co.uk where DDG gives https://www.amazon.co.uk/

    What's DDG? I Googled that & apparently it's an American YouTuber & rapper but I doubt this guy gave you that link :)

    And no good for you guys but at least it's not just me then. I wondered if I'd accidentally messed with some settings or something.

    I think it's another search engine, stands for 'DuckDuckGo'.
