Weird graphic on Chip App

Opened a Chip account last week and added some cash. The fancy little graphic on the app's opening screen shows what appears to be a graph of my contribution history (no idea why other than to make it look nice).
The point is though that it zooms up to the level of my balance and then appears to decline.
Any explanation welcome....

I presume it's just doing some weird line of best fit / average thing since there aren't very many data points - honestly I wouldn't worry about it at all.1

Yes looks like smoothing of some sort. Presumably your balance didn't exceed £10k, contrary to what the chart shows.0

No, just a credit of £10k.
Not bothered by it, I simply have no idea what it is supposed to represent and apart from looking pretty, what it shows.
