I bought my daughter a ring from Swarovski store for her 18th birthday.  A year later (out of guarantee) a stone fell out.  I returned to the store to ask if they could fix it, they said they no longer do repairs.  Jewellers won't repair because it is not a stone.  Then two more stones fell out a few years later, so she can no longer wear the ring. I contacted Swarovski customer services to see if they could a) repair it or b) replace it. They do neither and will not recommend any repairer.  Can I take this further?  Not happy with their response.

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires that goods are durable, but the actual lifespan of a product inevitably varies according to what it is and its quality, so if it was relatively cheap ("not a stone") then it wouldn't be expected to be problem-free for ever - how many years ago did you buy it, and how much was it?

    A year + a few more =??

Best bet find a local Jeweller who do repairs.

Swarovski Crystals are nothing but glass, & they have made a killing selling it & making people pay a fortune for it.

Find an independent jeweller, not a chain  who are only sales operaters.

As well as the high street, there are quite a few craft jewellers around. There's one around the corner from me (our kids went to school together). You might find one that's prepared to do repairs.

I'm surprised that you can't find a jeweller who could repair it.  I'm pretty certain I could even get a repair like that done at either of a couple of stalls at my local city centre market

Thank you. Jewellers say they won't fix a 'non-precious' stone.

It doesn't have to be a "jeweller".

What's the setting? If it's solid gold or silver, then any local jeweller should be able to help.  But, if it's gold or silver plate on base metal, then they may be concerned that they'd damage it further.

ADD.  Just googled the website.  Looks like, despite the prices, the crystal rings are gold/silver/rhodium tone plate on base metal.  This will make it harder to fix and, and I'm sorry to say, would cost more than the ring is actually worth.  As it has sentimental value, how about framing it in a little box frame?  That will save it from any further damage.
