My washing is pegged out and my fingers crossed. The wind is brisk so, if it continues, everything should dry well. Whilst I was in the garden I saw that my lovely Mary Berry rose has completely snapped at the base.
It was really in the wrong place as the winds hit right at it. I've ordered a new one and will place it somewhere different. I also picked my first two strawberries.
The loo is still dribbling, however it stops when the tank is full so at least it won't flood and can still be used.Happy day again.

Morning all
Yesterday after I posted we got torrential rain which lasted well into the evening so no bbq for us, today is lovely so far so we should be ok to bbq later.
I went to mums yesterday to look at her fridge which I think is kaput, she had to throw a load of food out so I went and got her a few bits for the weekend and some ice to keep it cool for a while, my sister delivered her a spare fridge later in the day and took all her frozen stuff home, the freezer was working fine just the fridge not working, we turned the whole thing off as it was very hot to touch, so the next job is getting her a new one and getting it fitted as it’s a built in one.
I was told Robs family would pay my expenses over the weekend - nothing so far 🙄 I still have him for another month and he doesn’t have a penny to his name, I can foresee a lot of walks this month as that’s free! I can’t tell you how much I despise that family I am still owed almost £200 and to leave him with nothing is disgusting.
I might go and do my shopping this morning which will save doing it tomorrow,
Have good days all and take care xx

Hi all,
We are away for a few days for our anniversary. Have been staying in the New Forest and are heading home today via Mottisfont NT. Seems the world snd his wife are here with very long queues for coffee - DH not amused!
I had the foresight to arrange a food delivery for between 5-6pm but if we’re not home by then DD will take it in and put it away.DDad arrived last night so I’ll be entertaining him for the next three weeks in between working.Glad the funeral went okay @Gers and you enjoyed the party @TravellingAbuela. I too have a hotel tale but will keep my counsel!!Have a good day all

@Suffolksue - while you are there can you look out for JackieO (London 1). Too bad there isn't something we can use to distinguish members. One organization I belong to used to use a yellow stick pin in the lapel. They haven't mentioned it in a long time though.7

@Suffolksue - Wonder if you could put up a note in the library? Ask if anyone knows and could let her know we are missing her.2
