Hello.
As the title says.
The current trim on the outside features 45mm wide trim, and white glue used for a trim-to-brick fit. What type of glue/sealant was used, please?
Then the joints between the outside trim and joint to upvc window, what sealant is best ie one that sets almost, good as hard and does not discolour easily.
If any UPVC window fitters here, I look forward to your tip as well as anyone else who may be able to help.

For plastic trim to uPVC you might try acetone or a solvent weld cement used for plastic waste pipes.0

A high quality 'frame sealant', ideally one that's water based, or at least wipe-awayable with a damp cloth.
Which one? Don't know.1 -

The problem with non-water-based types is how awkward they can be to clean up, wiping away excess. Or, in the case if silicone-based, that they don't take paint afterwards.
I'd love to know a good compromise sealant/adhesive too.1
