JustEat problems

Hi all
I appreciate any idea/help regarding this.
I've ordered groceries quite a few times from JustEat recently. Most orders were okay but four times they were not. One order didn't arrive at all but was marked delivered by the driver anyway. Two arrived only in part and one had broken and out of date items. In all cases I reported it immediately and was told it is being checked but then got an email saying:
"On this occasion, we're unable to offer a refund or compensation based on all the information we have.

We appreciate your understanding.
Thanks again for getting in touch with us."
I emailed back and tried in chat to get a justification for the decisions and to say that I totally didn't agree and really was being robbed, either by JustEat or the shop or delivery driver. I tried charge back which worked once for a minor amount but has been rejected the other times.
I feel let down by my bank but more so feel robbed by the company. I'm out of pocket now for a few things that I paid for but never received .
What are next steps?
Thanks
M

I have never used Just Eat and never will. The major supermarkets will deliver reliably.1

Does anyone have any actual ideas or recommendations in regards to my questions?0

To recover that money, the options are
1) formal complaint
2) chargeback follow up - ask the bank why rejected, ensuring youve supplied your evidence, complain to them.
3) court claim against JustEat (after a LBA)
None of which are particularly easy and/or not likely. There's no secret other way solution though.
In terms of the future, really you'll have to stop using them. The setup is fraught with friction and open to abuse, so this will keep happening every so often. If you do proceed with the more severe options above, they'll likely bank your account anyway.1
