Morrisons New Mix & Match Offers Pricing Labels Confusing?

My local Morrisons recently launched a few 4 for 3 mix & match offers. The price labels simply say "4 for 3 cheapest item free" and there is no offer name (previously they have something like "Meat Offer" or "Heinz Offer") to indicate which products are included.
I assumed the new mix & match offer was a store-wide offer, but I found out it's only for items within the same aisle at the checkout. It feels a bit misleading.
I contacted their management team and they replied "Any item that is part of the offer will have this information displayed on its individual labelling, as well as the offer being advertised on the shelving and displays in the same section." without further investigation.
My question is: am I being unreasonable to think this should be a store-wide offer?

I think so, yes. If those big labels are only present in one aisle and for specific items, I'd say it's sufficiently clear that only those items are in the offer.0

Surely OP's point is that they're in different aisles but without any indication of applying only within each one?Aylesbury_Duck said:I think so, yes. If those big labels are only present in one aisle and for specific items, I'd say it's sufficiently clear that only those items are in the offer.6 -
Because there are multiple aisles showing products with "4 for 3 cheapest item free" pricing labels, as a customer I would need to figure out how they define the grouping of the products/aisles.Aylesbury_Duck said:I think so, yes. Oh, I see. I misinterpreted it as the offer items all being in the same aisle and one aisle only.eskbanker said:

In that case, I've changed my view and consider it misleading.1 -
Yes, I see what you mean now. I agree, it's misleading.swan_scrambler173 said:

Are you sure it's not a store-wide offer?
Looking on-line at click&collect there are dozens if not hundreds of 'Buy 4 for the price of 3' offers from all over the store.
No discrimination by aisle or shelf.
'Buy 4 add the cheapest to your order free. Maximum 20 promotional items per customer.'0 -
Confirmed it is not store-wide with the self checkout machine and the staff in the checkout area.Alderbank said:Are you sure it's not a store-wide offer?

I then swapped out the syrup for another veg, so total 4 veg bags and the "Prep Deal 4 for 3" offer applied.0 -
This is one reason why I now avoid the big supermarkets. Having not been in my local Morrisons for a couple of years I walked out a few weeks ago as there were so many yellow labels and offers I couldn't make head or tail of it all. I felt I was being ripped off at every turn.
How about just for once they price all items sensibly rather than spend millions on the promotions?

Yes that’s ludicrous.Credit card 1800

I always treat the 4 for 3 offer as applying to products which had the same label
on the shelf below them.0
