I was on the Costa Blanca, Torrevieja, and no mobile signal on any of our phones. Here in the UK we ditched Three as the local site went off with the slightest glitch in the mains. EE and O2 have been OK, but how long they can run for without mains is unknown.1

Usually EE (formerly BT) will just replace the wire and socket. The rest of your setup is your responsibility.
If you want to replace the extra socket - there is usually a charge.0
