At work there is a huge stack of used printer cartridges and I just want to get rid of them! but not just chuck them out as I know lots of charities collect them.
Can someone let me know of a chairy that collects them (they are the bigger, HP Color LaserJet one, not the ones that you get at home) and where I can send them to?

I ordered my last lot from inkclub site and they sent a few envelopes to post off old cartridges (freepost). Thats ok if you need some more ink but not much use if you don't.
Maybe some of the charity shops take them. I had a feeling Red Cross did but not sure.Mary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

There are hundreds of charities that take them! Mobile phones and ink cartridges.
If you like birds - the RSPB http://www.rspb.org.uk/supporting/green/mobile.asp
or Brent Lodge

Or animals - RSPCA

etc. etc. etc. !0 -
You might be able to donate them to your local school as they quite often get discounts or deals for old cartridges when they're ordering their consumables. I give mine to the local primary school.Debt at highest: £6,290.72 (14.2.1999)
Debt free success date: 14.8.2006 :j0 -

My Scout Troop would love your used printer cartridges. All used mobile phones, printer cartridges and PDA's are welcome: http://www.stmartinsscouts.moonfruit.com/recycle-4-cash
All the information you need should be on the website above, if not feel free to just ask me. Also as the printer cartridges won't fit in an evelope you can orgranise a free collection.
Thank You!!0 -
Get envelopes from Tesco HelpDesk, send them off and claim 100 Clubcard points for yourself for each cartridge. Use the points for Deals worth £4 per 100 points and donate £2 to your favourite charity.0

This company works with a number of charities (inc mine). You can send them direct, and they put the money to the charity you choose.
