Switching from British Gas

If I switch from British Gas to Octopus
will my smart meter and home display still work.
if no Will Octopus replace my smart meter.

If they work now, they'll continue to work after you switch.

If you have an older SMETS1 smart meter then it might do dumb when you switch, and Octopus might then replace it.  You most likely have a SMETS2 smart meter in which case you'll have no issues if/when you change supplier.
