The first thing we check when ours does this, is whether it's blocked. Leaves like gutters and ours overflows like a waterfall at times!

The first thing to check is if it's leaking or overflowing.
Overflowing means blockage either in the gutter or in the downpipe.
Leaking means lose stop end or faulty rubber seal in the stop end.

The same if it's corner - the photo is unclear.

And what seems to be "coming apart" is a bracket - that generally cannot cause leaking.

Pretty clear the gutter has come out from that end fitting.
Unless it has been disturbed by something - knocked during other work, for example - then it's usually due to the gutter length(s) having been cut too short. In which case, it needs lengthening.
Two ways - one is to replace it with a longer length, and the other is to add a gutter 'union' somewhere along it's length to do the same job; it should add an inch or so.
First, I'd investigate that end fitting using a safely secured ladder, and check that the end fitting shown has not just come loose from the barge board and fallen away. Note what you see, take some pics, and then reposition the ladder at the next fitting along that gutter to its right. Take some more pics there.
    Please report back.

Unless you are used to working at height from a ladder and confident you can do the job safely, it might be best to get an odd job person to fix it for you.

Working on the overhanging corner of a roof is inherently dangerous - putting the ladder a safe distance away from the corner means you have to lean over to the side to do the work, and leaning to the side on a ladder is how a lot of ladder accidents happen.  Plus with a window and stack vent pipe that close to the corner you have very limited options for safely positioning the ladder, and the vent pipe will hamper access.

I'm confident using ladders and have a fair amount of experience working at height (and depth), but I wouldn't do that job on a ladder.  Too risky.

Section62 is spot on with his advice. You need a corner stand off for a ladder to have a chance of doing the job safely.

It's pretty clearly detached. The only Q is, why?

Plastic guttering expands & contracts at an alarming rate.
It could have just have worked loose over the years.

    Thanks everyone, all sorted.

The seal had come off, clipped back in and put some sealent around the joint. Hoping that will hold for a bit until we do renew the guttering properly at some point.

@danrv thanks for the link, might have to get myself one of those!
