I have read that travel for tourists over 65 is free if you carry photo ID . Will the British bus pass suffice as we would not want to carry our passport around with us all the time.Does it just cover buses. Can anyone elaborate please

The ID needs a date of birth on it. Does this bus pass have that, i dont have one yet.0

Public transport is also free for tourists over 65 in the Polish city of Breslau (Wroclaw).0

We have driving licenses with photo and DOB. Last question does the free travel cover the metro and trams as well or only buses. I believe it was only reintroduced to UK citizens recently after we left the EU0

British bus passes are not UK government issued documents and not an officially recognised ID AFAIK - only passport and driver licence.0
