Power cable for old laptop

I have dug out a very old 11" HP Stream laptop to use for a photo project but can't find its power cable. The socket is smaller than the usual standard size so none of my existing charger cables will fit.

I need to know the technical name/size of the smaller connector so that I can buy the right one on line.

Can anyone help?

I'm in no way doubting that this is the correct charger/plug - but how do you know? is there an HP site where you can look this spec up?

Interested because similarly I have an old HP laptop with no power lead that I might resurrect.

eBay item number 365393640364 is a second hand genuine HP charger, £9.99

There are generic chargers which may work correctly, but I would opt for a genuine HP one.

Best bet is to just buy a "multihead charger" from your local supermarket or ebay. Else buy "a repair or spare" from ebay and ensure it comes with charger. HP tend to be pricey with their new replacement chargers.

Connector Size 4.5mm outer diameter / 3.0mm inner diameter (commonly referred to as the "blue tip")

Is that tip colour thing an industry "standard" or only applicable to proper HP kit?

I've got an Acer laptop with charger and the tip's yellow, does that signify anything that's "standard"?

Was going to check my HP laptop but it's newer and they've moved to USB-C (Lightning?) charging only.

AFAIK 'blue tip' was a common term in HP-only shops
