It’s really frustrating as I can’t see anything
    I’ve wondered if it’s my age ( 50 this year )
Maybe paying a bigger deposit , but it’s just so annoying as I’ve no idea what could be stopping me getting approved
Adverse bureau data , not really telling me what this is
If someone out there thinks I owe them money surely they’d have been in touch by now , not that I owe anything

No ccj’s, nothing financially linked to my partner , credit scores both over 940
    No missed payments
    It’s a mystery

Have you read through the entries on your credit report rather than just the headline score? There might be some clues there.

Yes my mortgage adviser has gone through it and can’t see anything
Just said adverse bureau data , but no idea what that means

Are you using a mortgage adviser at a lender or a mortgage broker?
Lender's in-house advisers often don't get to see the data whereas a mortgage broker can.

Then I recommend switching to a whole of market mortgage broker.
