Pip mobility descriptor

I'm filling in PIP form for my son.

For mobility he fits into descriptor E Can stand and then move more than 1 metre but no more than 20 metres.

I have evidence of this a letter from a Dr I just don't know how to put this into words does he need to do the descriptor repeatedly to get it ? What if he can't do it repeatedly I'm just not sure. Below is what I have written is this OK?

xxx walks less than 20 metres before severe pain and discomfort starts. He then has to stop and rest before he can walk again

Thanks

A doctors (GP) letter carries little weight when it comes to PIP evidence.  A letter from a orthopeadic/rhumatolgy consultant would carry more weight.

I suggest something on the lines of -

Due to the condition of X, xxx can only walk less than 20 metres before experiencing severe pain and discomfort. He then has to stop and rest for X minutes before he can walk again. He will then walk X distance before stopping again, for Y minutes.

Is there anywhere he walks to on a regular basis? How long does it take to walk this?  Does he have an aid to assist him walking distance? What affect does walking have eg if he walks one day, the effect is X, Y.  Does he have pain killers to help.
