Not another wrongly allocated St Helens case!

Don't tell us... your local court ISN'T St Helens? I truly hate the CNBC for allowing some badly-trained staff member to make this this constant mistake.
And the court management are not even bothered by it !

The allocation of track states it will be a telephone hearing, not sure if that's a good or a bad sign. I know I need to prepare my witness statement and evidence bundle by the 25th June, not really sure what to say as my case revolves around "I have written permission" which I thought would have been sufficient to stop it getting to this stage - but clearly not!

They almost all get to this stage,  the true nature is revealed if or when they pay the hearing fee,  same as all the others

Regardless of what you believe about VCS, they are the actual claimant and are pulling the strings of their client,  the puppet lawyers.  They are likely to take back control at any point up to the hearing date, especially with a lot of money involved

Dcb legal are a sub contractor,  so the lawyers must do what their employer wants,  same as that recent Excel Parking case at the court of appeal,  where Jackson hardly said anything on behalf of the Defendant

Just copy the style of other WS that people prepared on any/all the recent threads linked in @Umkomaas' discontinuances thread.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you for the further info, VCS lost the contract during my tenancy so I think they're just desperate to recoup anything they can - but hopefully they see it's futile and don't pay the hearing fee.

Much appreciated, will look into the discontinuances thread for guides on my WS - will post a draft on here too once it's done. Hopefully I will end up on that thread all being well!
