I opened this when i opened a new Monzo account to compliment the starling and Halifax clarity card for usage abroad as it doesn't load onto the Mastercard wholesale rate unlike the clarity card
However paying it seems such a faff!
I dont understand why i cant pay it by DD or manual bank transfer from my building society account. They only accept transfers from monzo internally or an open banking transfer which the Coventry isn't part of
Just seems more complicated then it needs to be

Does Halifax Clarity load onto the Mastercard exchange rate? I've never heard this before.

Where's the faff? Just pay the amount by DD into your Monzo account and the Flex card takes it from there on the date set0

I think what @FlorayG is suggesting is that you set a standing order (not a DD) from The Coventry to fill your Monzo account and have your payment taken from there.0 -
Or, just pay it off manually in one go and then forget about it. You dont have to stick to the "payment schedule", you can pay it in full at any time,0
