Submitting Defence & form N9B following AOS

Thank you @Coupon-mad for your clear 12 steps in formulating a defence, which I hope to send tomorrow.

2 questions:

1. I plan to send my defence to ClaimResponses.CNBC@justice.gov.uk but do I attach the N9B also or do I fill out on MCOL & email the defence separately?
2. Do I send a copy of the defence to their agent

1. DO NEITHER! Nothing on MCOL (eeek no - DO NOT TOUCH MCOL!) and no form.

2. No.

The 12 steps cover everything.

Afternoon @Coupon-mad
I have followed the 12 steps and submitted my Defence via email & received an acknowledgement
"Thank you for emailing the Claim Responses Team in the Civil National Business Centre. Please expect a response to your enquiry in 10 days"

10 days have lapsed 

Is this response sufficient to demonstrate submission/receipt, or should I back it up by  post (proof of postage)
